Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I like the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I am married and I am a father! I love my wife and daughter! I like the outdoors and I like extreme sports, especially skateboarding, snowboarding and wakeboarding. I like to hunt and fish as well. I work full time as an insurance professional. I served a full time mission in Costa Rica from 2005-2007 and I loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

For me, the correct question would be: Why am I "still" mormon? I am still mormon because a few years ago I asked Heavenly Father through prayer if the Book of Mormon is true and He answered me. Since all of my religion hinges on whether the Book of Mormon is true or not, I decided to use that as my question. I was born and raised Mormon and thanks to my parents' amazing examples, early on, I was able to gain a testimony of obedience and blessings. But, even with the conviction I gained as a child of the truthfulness of the restored gospel of Christ, I still had moments of doubt. So, before dedicating two years of my life to the Lord to preach the gospel that has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, I decided to do as it says in Moroni 10:3-5, pray to know the truth. After many days of fervent prayer, I recieved my answer through the Holy Ghost. Because I "know the truth by the power of the Holy Ghost", I continue to be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do everything that "my Lord my God shall command me" (Abr. 3:25). This includes living the restored gospel and heeding the words of the living prophets.
