Hi I'm Tim

I'm from the USA, I grew up in Utah, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a Russian girl and couldn't be happier. My degree in Russian helps of course. Right now I work for a computer software company. I like spending my free time with my wife. We go for hikes, do cross-country skiing and love living in Utah. I am an amateur filmmaker, and love studying film.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon Family. I joined the church when I was eight years old. I continue to believe because of my testimony of the truth of the scriptures and the difference that the gospel of Jesus Christ makes in my life. The simple truths of the gospel make the greatest difference day to day in my life, give it real meaning and perspective. I also know that the leaders of the church are guided by God, I know that they speak the truth and that means so much to me, and has helped me with the struggles in my life. I know that the gospel if Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth and am so grateful for it. I have had my prayers answered.

How I live my faith

My wife and I teach a Sunday school class on family history and the importance of family in the gospel. Another assignment in the church is to home teach two families in the ward, we share a gospel message with them and provide any service as needed. I do this with another man in the ward and we do it as companions. My wife and I donate money that is used to help those less fortunate, after a monthly fast to the church. We also sometimes help out at the local soup-kitchen when time permits.
