Hi I'm Patrick

I Converted to the church when I was 29 years old

About Me

I was born and raised Catholic. I was baptized a Mormon when I was 29 years old. I love the church. I have 6 daughters and 6 grandchildren. I am 55 years old now and love my family. I have 2 brothers and one sister. We live in Florida. My wife and I have been married for 22 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior in 1985 and was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that God lives and that Jesus is my savior. I repented of all my sins and was confirmed a member of the church. I hold the priesthood and have the opportunity to bless others. I believe The Holy Bible is scripture and also believe that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ suffered for our sins that we could be forgiven. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that we have a living prophet on the earth today that leads and guides and directs our church. We are good people and have a strong sense of family. I attend church every week and continue to grow in the gospel. Come feel the spirit with us.

How I live my faith

I am presently serving as a High Priests Group Leader. The members of the group try to visit members of the church every month and care for the sick and the needy. We organize family history work and temple trips. Our nearest temple is in Orlando Florida. We love people and try to do whatever we can to help them.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Women share the priesthood with their husbands. They work together as husband and wife to raise children and bless others. When a man and woman are married in the temple they are sealed together for time and all eternity; and if they live the gospel worthily by keeping the commandments and enduring to the end; they can be together forever. Women lead by teaching children, youth and each other. Also by visiting and encouraging each other. Show more Show less
