Hi I'm Judy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a teacher, currently living with my husband "down 'da Bayou" in Southern Louisiana. I was born and raised in Idaho, and lived for 16 years in Hawaii, raising our four children there. I love teaching high school math, and have also taught piano lessons for many, many years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of wonderful and influential people in my life who led me to become what I am today. As a lonely little girl, I frequently turned to God for companionship and solace. He became my best friend. My mother's genealogy flows deeply into early Mormon pioneer heritage, but it was not through her, but through relatives, that I was led to embrace the Gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With a testimony engraved in my soul at a young age, I have never doubted nor strayed from my faith.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day in all I do. My waking thoughts each morning are of gratitude for God's blessings, and I always try to plan carefully to fill my day with productive service. I hope that my conduct and my appearance can be an example and a credit to my Faith. In the LDS Ward in my community, I play the organ for Sunday services and serve as a leader in the Women's Organization. I also serve as an ordinance worker in the temple on a regular basis.
