Hi I'm Elder Thurber

Hi I'm David. I love to do gymnastics, paint the D.C. temple, go on dates with girls, & bear my testimony.

About Me

My name is David, and like many different activities. Road cycling is my best sport, in fact you become a totally different person once you start going fast enough. Playing with words is also important to do, when family members need to hear the pronunciation of them backwards, and that kind of clicked around age ten. Now though, after learning more languages, it has been beneficial to try writing them upside down, in cursive, or shorthand backwards. Having a nephew who is a newborn has helped to teach foreign language-Hebrew to the outside atmosphere. I want to learn how to surf really bad. I am a very cloudy person, and believe in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I became LDS because it felt like it would make me happy to get baptized. Frankly, getting baptized was a fun idea for me. Whenever I am around Latter Day Saints, they have uplifting and positive conversations. I am a bike rider, and it is very vital to one's confidence in that to maintain focused thoughts. Those conversations really help to descern between distractive outside influences and helpful ones. Also, I often look forward to the Resurrection where everyone will have perfected bodies. It is nice every so often to attend the temple; where I can see people at peace.

How I live my faith

Personally, just like going to church. Church is fun, and Latter-day Saints often mention education. While it can be hard, education can be a source for happiness, when accompanied by the words of Christ.
