Hi I'm Rachel

I am a wife. I am a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a military child. I was born in Germany and have lived all over the US. I am student at a small university. My husband and I are graduating at the same time and will then move on to graduate school. I love oil painting, but hope to have a career as an interior decorator.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized at age 8, but my true conversion happened when I was 16. I had to choose between my friends and my beliefs. I chose to continue following Christ's gospel because I knew that I would be happier if I did that than if I chose another path. I didn't have many friends for a while and it was hard to see how my choice was better, but I was blessed by my Heavenly Father for it. I know that the doctrines taught in this church are true. I have studied them for myself and seen the great blessing they are in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I wash dishes, clean floors, and make food for my friends and neighbors. I try to be an example to those around me through the things I do and say.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that the family is the most important group people can belong to. We also believe that families can be together after we die. Family is what keeps us strong and we can grow and help our family grow by following God's plans for us. Show more Show less
