Hi I'm Amanda

I am Southern, I am a wife and a mom, I am a special education teacher, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, stay-at-home mom most of the time, special education teacher the rest of the time, piano teacher, and college graduate. I love to read, decorate, eat out, go to new places, travel, exercise, be outdoors, and spend time with my family and with my girlfriends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Jesus Christ's church. I know we have a prophet that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ guide and use to direct this church. I believe in personal revelation and in modern day revelation through prophets and apostles and believe the truths in The Book of Mormon and other holy scripture. I am a Mormon because the Spirit has witnessed to me that this Gospel is true and I find peace, direction, and happiness in it.

How I live my faith

I support and lead those who teach toddlers in the church nursery.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Just as Moses led Christ's people as a prophet in his day, we have a prophet who leads Christ's church in our modern day and who is directed in this leadership by Christ Himself. The prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, was chosen by God to guide us in this confusing world and show us the correct way to manage our lives and bring us to God and Christ. And, yes, I believe that he is a true prophet. Show more Show less
