Hi I'm Nancy

I grew up on a farm in the upper Midwest, USA. I'm a nurse, a Mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nurse who loves the out of doors. I love to run on trails, hike up mountains and camp in the wilderness. I love to play with my adult children and their spouses and I'm beginning to share the things I love with my two young grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

After I got married my husband asked me to investigate the Mormon Church. We wanted to have a family and we felt that having a religion in common was important for our family. Each time we met with the missionaries I had a sense of peace and happiness that brought tears to us both. It was clear to me that the gospel of Jesus Christ was the right way to go. The blessings that come to me as I continue to be obedient and live His gospel are sometimes overwhelming. I know that He lives. I know that He loves and cares about me.

How I live my faith

When I joined the Mormon church my life really changed. After my children left home, my husband and I have served three full-time missions for our church. Two were for 18 months and one for two years. Our current assignment is in the Democratic Republic of the Congo helping with the medical needs of our young missionaries. I love to help others.
