Hi I'm Wayne

I am a father of four children. I work in the Medical profession. I love to fish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I earn a living as an Anesthesiologist. My wife and I recently celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We have 3 boys and 1 girl. Our youngest just joined all of our other kids in attending college. We are therefore officially empty nesters. We keep close contact with our kids and continue to enjoy their association. It is a joy to watch them spreading their wings. I enjoy outdoor activities: fly fishing, golf and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in my faith. The teaching of the Gospel have been present in my life yet by faith and seeking I have gained a knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for myself, as anyone can. The statement made by the Savior; "If any man will do my will he will know of the doctrine", has certainly been true in my life. That knowledge, born of the Spirit, has come by the peace and assurance that in "doing God's will" I have felt God's love. In a world of commotion I find comfort in standing on the foundation of Christ Gospel.

How I live my faith

I believe in the power of prayer and that God guides me by His Spirit. I enjoy serving in my congregation. I enjoy interacting with members of my faith. I try to exemplify the teaching of the Savior by loving, helping and enjoying all of God's children. I have felt a peace in so living.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Wayne
First you would want to understand the principles and ordinances of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. That could happen with your visit to a Latter Day Saint Church or a visit with Latter Day Saint missionaries who would love to talk with you and answer questions. Show more Show less
