Hi I'm Tom.

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Georgia. I've been a Mormon since 1972.

About Me

I'm an Industrial Environmental Systems Professional living in North Atlanta. I'm 60 years old, married to my wife for 37 years, the father of three daughters and one son. I am also the grandparent of seven wonderful grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a wonderful Christian home in the deep south. At age 18, after many years of activity in the church of my parents, my heart began to seek more knowledge about where did I come from and why was I here, answers that I was not able to find when I questioned my ministers and peers in my church. After fervent prayer, I heard about the Church through a friend. I was introduced to the missionaries and as I asked questions, I began to receive answers..and my heart confirmed that what I was listening to was true. I prayed about these new found truths and received an answer from the Holy Ghost.... My life has been blessed tremendously since I discovered these truths over 42 years ago.

How I live my faith

From the day of my baptism, I committed to the Lord and to myself that I would try my best to live the principles of the Gospel of Christ as I would learn them. I was called to serve a mission at age 19 to France and Switzerland for two years. The principles that I learned during that time, I've tried my best to live since then. Doing so, I've been asked to volunteer for many callings in the Church over these years. By so doing, I've had opportunities to learn many beneficial lessons about life...most importantly that when we are in the service to others, we receive the greatest blessings. I believe that trying our best to live the Gospel makes bad men good, and good men better...of that I have a testimony.
