Hi I'm Josh.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a thirty year old husband and father of four (two girls, two boys). I work in finance & accounting. When I'm not working I enjoy being outside. I love running, fishing, and golf, as well as the occasional church basketball or flag football. With my family I enjoy everything outdoors or just rolling around on the floor with the kids. Whatever we can find to entertain the little ones, I'm all for it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to our family life. My wife and I want to raise children that love and serve our Heavenly Father and strive to be like Jesus.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but the ultimate reason I am a Mormon is because I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed to know if it was a true book of scripture, and I received an answer that it is. I have felt The Holy Ghost testifying to me that this is the Lord's church, guided by a true prophet.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures and try to apply them to my life. I pray to give thanks and ask for blessings. I attend church and try to learn from the lessons taught there. I try to be a loving father and husband, and help my family grow closer to one another, and to the Lord. I serve in the church, giving my time to visit, teach, and help those in my ward.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Josh.
We believe that the Bible is Holy Scripture and the word of God. We use the King James version. We also believe that the Book of Mormon is Holy Scripture and the word of God. They are both writings of prophets, containing revelation from God for his people. Show more Show less
