Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a father of two wonderful children and I am married to the best woman ever invented. I really enjoy chatting with people and getting to know them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is my prayer each day that I will be able to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in this life. I know that Christ lives and that He loves me. In order to follow Him I feel it imperative to know what He would have me do. I have found out for myself that this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is His true church on earth. He leads and guides it through living prophets. By aligning myself with His church and following the teachings set forth therein, I in turn am following Christ...in the way that He would have me follow Him. Thus, I am guided, by Him, to advance His cause...and it fills me with joy.

How I live my faith

I participate in our local congregation in many ways. My favorite way is to just build relationships of love and trust with everyone. The church affords many opportunities to do so. It is a great place to build true and lasting friendships.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I believe that by trying to do follow His Son, Jesus Christ, we are best suited to come to know our Heavenly Father. He sent His Son to show us how to live. I believe that sincere prayer to the Father, in the name of Christ, is also critical to the process of coming to know Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
