Hi I'm Cade

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love family! My favorite hobby is being a Dad. I love people! I'm always looking for an excuse to go fishing, hiking, biking, or anything else outdoors. I spent most of my education studying accounting, but most of my career thus far in sales. I love to sell solutions - I love to feel like I can provide a solution that will add value to a client's company. I love my wife, together we make goals and enjoy life, come what may. I love my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, I have prayed earnestly to know if it is true, and I have received a confirmation from the Spirit that it is indeed another Testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:22 teaches us that the fruits of the spirit include love, joy, peace, goodness, and faith. These are the feelings I have when I read the Holy Bible, and the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His true Church. My decision did not come from a desire to fit in, or pressure from family or friends, but rather from a sincere desire to know the truth, and from an answer to prayers.

How I live my faith

I have a very simple goal. I want people to know for a fact that I have faith in my Savior Jesus Christ, by how I live my life, not by what I say or tell them. I want them to know that I love Him. If I work for you, you better believe that I am giving you 100%. I want each co-worker to feel like they have a trusted friend in me. At Church, I look forward to callings to serve and to teach. I love to explain the gospel, and love to hear opinions and thoughts from other religions and beliefs. I love hearing about peoples experiences with Christ. As a citizen, you'll find me in support of our troops, and willing to serve the community in whatever capacity I can. As a Son, Father, Brother, Cousin, Husband, Grandson, and Nephew....you'll find me anxious to spend time with family. I live my faith by being a loyal friend to my family - no matter the differences of political or religious views. I live my faith by being cheerful.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Cade
As Mormons, we worship God the Eternal Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. We believe in the same organizations spoken of in the Holy Bible - namely Prophets, Apostles, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists. Just as we believe that Moses, Abraham, and Joseph of Egypt were prophets of God, we believe that Joseph Smith was called as a Prophet of God in our day. We do not worship Joseph Smith, but do believe that he was an instrument in the hands of God in restoring truths that were lost. I firmly believe that each and every individual has the right and responsibility to know for themselves as to whether or not this man was truly a Prophet. Fortunately - we are taught the pattern in the Bible: Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." We then learn the pattern by which we can know if they are true: Matthew 7:16-20 "Ye shall know them by their fruits.....wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." This is the pattern. To know if Joseph Smith is a prophet of God - we need to examine his "fruits." Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I invite you to read and pray to know if the Book of Mormon is true. If the Book of Mormon is true, you can know for yourself that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God. Show more Show less
