Hi I'm Julina

I'm a daughter, sister, and friend, but most importantly, I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom of three children. I love to read and write. I enjoy photography and scrapbooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with my parents and siblings. When I was in high school, I decided that I needed to pray about the Church and gain my own testimony of its truthfulness. I didn't have a huge revelation or anything like that, but I had an impression come to me that helped me to realize that I had always known the Church was the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was the Lord's chosen prophet to restore His church to the earth. I know that Joseph Smith saw both Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that he translated the Book of Mormon from the Golden Plates. I know the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S Monson, on the earth who receives revelation from God for the world. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that without Him, we would be lost. I know that if we strive to become like Him, we can return to live with Him and Our Father in Heaven. I know that families can be together forever through the blessings of the temple. I know that God and Jesus Christ live and They love us!

How I live my faith

I help teach and plan activities for the young children at church. I enjoy seeing them every Sunday and watching them learn and grow in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also enjoy participating in the spiritual and social activities that are planned for the women at church. I gain great strength and friendship from the many different ladies who attend. I try to live my faith everyday of my life. I'm by no means perfect, but I try to be a good example for my children. I want them to know that I love God by the way I treat people and the things that I do. I strive every day to be like Jesus, and I try to improve myself a little bit each new day.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

When our relationships with others are founded upon faith in Jesus Christ, we have a stronger sense of what is most important. That faith helps us to be more willing to meaningfully say "I'm sorry" when we've done something to hurt a friend or loved one. It helps us to more readily forgive others who have wronged us. As parents, faith in Jesus Christ gives us the courage to make choices for our families that will be the most beneficial for them, despite how unpopular and difficult they may seem.
