Hi I'm Grant

I'm a husband of one beautiful woman :), father of four rascals, real estate broker, addicted to spearfishing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Husband, father, volunteer in the Boy Scouts, freedive and scuba Spearfisherman, Degree in business, and loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because: 1. My parents joined just before I was born. They took me to Church like clockwork and lived the gospel and were an example of Christlike love to me. (Love ya Mom and Dad!) 2. I grew up learning truth and feeling the influence of the holy spirit. I saw how it changed my life and others lives for the good. 3. I have had personal spiritual experiences that have led me to the conclusion that The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints is Christs one and only True and living Church! (Prayers are most definately answered) 4. The Book of Mormon is Awesome! I know that I am closer to Jesus Christ because of this wonderful book of scripture. 5. Prophets are awesome! God has not left us in the dark... he has called prophets in our day, just as in days of old, what a blessing it is to have Prophets and Apostles who lead the church under Christs direction. 6. Mormons are happy! They know the truth and try to live it as best they can(hopefully), and in doing so avoid a lot of the things that lead to being "unhappy".

How I live my faith

I show up! Faith is an action word, I live my faith by showing up to Church, by showing up to help ward members move, by showing up to try to lift up members who's faith is cold, I do this by sharing the words of Christs Prophets, and by serving and being a friend, I show up to help out with the Boy Scout Troop every week, and the campouts, I show up to the Temple to serve those that have passed away already, I show up because I know that that is what Christ would do, and I have faith in Christ!

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

To be happy, to have the happyness that God has, just as any good father wants his Children to be happy, our heavenly father prepared a plan, and this life is a part of that plan to help us to have the happyness that he has. Show more Show less
