Hi I'm Jeff

I love playing racquetball. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a husband and father. My wife, and 4 kids, who all share my love for playing racquetball, which helps strengthen our family bond. I'm a software developer and I enjoy working on all things Unix. My family is addicted to amusement parks, and we try to visit as many as we can, as often as we can. I try not to take life too seriously, as I believe we were meant to fully enjoy life -- which means I look for the humor in all situations.

Why I am a Mormon

Like Nephi, I too was born of goodly parents who had burning testimonies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so I have always been a member. It wasn't until I moved out when I really discovered that I had a testimony of my own, and when I went through the temple my testimony of the plan of salvation strengthened tremendously -- I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us, that includes the potential for us to become like him! This knowledge resonates with every fiber of my being, and brings peace and comfort to me in times of conflict and upheaval.

How I live my faith

I strive to live by the teachings of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I know I fall short all to often, but I also know that through His atonement, I still have hope of standing in His presence. I have had the opportunity to serve in various callings, and each one has taught me many things that helps strengthen my resolve to be more like Christ. The more I learn, the more things make sense, which brings comfort to me.
