Hi I'm Jessica

I am a missionary in El Salvador. I'm a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada to a family with 6 kids. My parents have been married for over 25 years, and have helped to house and support me while I was growing up and when I went off to university. I recently graduated from university with a degree in nursing. This past summer I made the decision to serve an 18 month mission for the church. I was called to serve in the El Salvador San Salvador East mission as a nurse specialist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into and LDS family, and I continue to follow the gospel principles. I have a strong testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel, I am so lucky to have had these simple principles taught to me at such a young age.

How I live my faith

I tried to be the best example I can be. At my high-school there was a high population of LDS kids so everyone knew who I was and what I stood for. When I left high-school and started attending college/university I realized that very few people knew me or understood my values. I have learned to be a better example and to not shy away from people wanting to know more about my lifestyle and religion. I have gained lots of new friends many of whom are non-members, they are great people who respect me. So I guess I live my faith by being a good example.
