Hi I'm Lauren

I am a kindergarten teacher, I love kids, I enjoy laughing, I love my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and am currently in my last year. For this last year I am student teaching full time. For the first half of the year I was with a fabulous Kindergarten teacher and am currently with an amazing preschool teacher. I love kids and want to teach in the future. When I have free time I like to go rock climbing and I have been doing it since I was 12. For six years I competed locally and regionally; even though I do not go very often anymore I still enjoy it. When I am not at school I also like to hang out with my family and friends-they mean the world to me. Basically I just love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both converts to the church and joined when they were teenagers. I was born into the church and am grateful to have the Gospel in my life. I am grateful to know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me personally and loves me. He knows what I need in my life- for He sees the bigger picture. He is always willing to help me if I will turn to him in prayer and trust in Him and His timing. Life has not always been easy- it definitely has its ups and downs but having the Gospel in my life makes the harder times easier to bear. I know that I have a Savior and an older brother who sacrificed His life for me. He felt all the pains and afflictions. Because of Him I know I am able to repent and be forgiven of my sins and I know that if I truly repent He will remember them no more. I am grateful for this Gospel and I know it is true!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith so that no matter where I am or who I see they will know that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have had many callings that have helped me strengthen my testimony; I have been the ward chorister, secretary of the institute council at the local institute and currently am a visiting teaching coordinator. I know that these callings were for me and I was able to learn and grow in the Gospel. I also enjoy sharing the Gospel with anyone that I come in contact with or answering questions because I want others to know what makes me the person I am and what brings me the greatest joy!
