Hi I'm Doranda

I'm a blogger, aspiring photographer, a mother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a LDS family in Washington. After high school I went to BYU-Idaho where I met my husband. I have a degree in Communication. My three little redheads keep me pretty busy. But when I have time to myself I love to take pictures, read, try new things, blog, Photoshop, and talk to any grown up I can find (emphasis on the grown up part). What I am really into now is photography. I love taking pictures and honing in on my skills. When my kids get older I would love to start my own business, but for now I am happy practicing and taking pics for friends. I like ice cream, painted toenails, symphony bars, when it is 76 deegres outside, jumping on the trampoline, geocaching, cereal for breakfast, and did I mention ice cream. I feel like my life is going so fast I need to hurry up and get with the program before it passes me by. Sometimes I feel like a mom in over her head.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon household so that is why I got started in the church. The reason I still am Mormon is because I truly believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

Basically I strive daily to make good decisions. I read the scriptures. I pray to Heavenly Father and I listen to the Prophet. I go to church on Sundays where I teach the seven and eight-year-olds about the gospel. This year we are learning about the New Testament and Jesus Christ.
