Hi I'm Rendon

I am a graphic designer, university instructor, scuba instructor, business owner, outdoor enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in design. I work from home doing freelance graphic/web design work. It is thrilling to create beautiful design and art. I love people and making new friends, and I treat my friends as family. I enjoy listening to good music of all kinds and I play what little I can on the guitar. Being outdoors is the best, whether it's camping, hiking, riding, climbing, or simply being. I love my Heavenly Father, and am thankful to him for all these things in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I am happier living by the teachings of the LDS church than when I am not. I was raised in the church by wonderful parents who have always been strong in living the doctrines of the LDS church. I fought against those doctrines and was inactive from the church for many years. I wasn't necessarily unhappy during that time, but I felt there was more that I wanted and needed in my life. As began to become active in the church again, I began to feel what I had been missing. The more that I lived the gospel, the happier I became and the better life was. I know that I am happier and the challenges of life are easier when living the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making it a part of who I am everyday. During the week I associate with other people, Mormons and non-Mormons, and strive to live my life in accordance with the LDS church doctrines. I attend many of the church activities that occur during the week. On the weekends, I prepare and print the programs and announcements for my ward sacrament meeting on Sunday. On Sundays, I attend church meetings to worship, learn more about the gospel doctrines, and receive spiritual strength from the testimonies of others.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No. We do not practice polygamy. The practice of polygamy goes against the doctrines of the LDS church. Anyone practicing polygamy is not doing so because our doctrine. Show more Show less
