Hi I'm Annalece

I'm a singer, a dancer, a teacher, a writer, a pretend seamstress, the wife of a Spaniard, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 20-something year old actor/singer/dancer. I spend most of my time teaching children and teenagers how to love themselves through singing, dancing and acting. I am newly married to a news anchor from Madrid, Spain. We had to cross the world to find each other, but it eventually happened. I've traveled to eight different countries singing and dancing. I hope to spend my life exploring the world, learning different languages, and meeting new people. I love to travel, cook, blog, sew, decorate, do zumba, and watch my husband watch futbol.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I fully believe that living the principles of the gospel is THE ONLY WAY to be truly happy. I love the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ and His teachings. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense to me. The commandments given us in the Bible are the best guide to living "drama-free" lives. My grandmother would always say, "Even if I had never found the church, I would still live it's teachings because it is the only way to be happy!" I couldn't agree more, Grandma.

How I live my faith

My husband and I currently serve in a Spanish speaking branch of the church. I don't speak Spanish. We have been working with the Spanish members for almost two years and I've realized that the spirit can still teach and inspire me even when I don't completely understand what is being said. I have been working with the teenage girls of the church since we got married. I love being with the young people. They are so full of life and excitement. The teenage girls and myself try to be extra involved in the community: providing service, going to the opera, meeting new people, and especially sharing their culture. It is so fun to be apart of a group that can love and rely on each other and have fun all at the same time!

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Wouldn't it be horrible if your one goal in life was to be a great scientist and there was only one book in the world that discussed your specific field? When we are studying something we tend to find as much information as possible before we draw any conclusions. That is why the Bible is so important. The Bible, along with the Book of Mormon, teaches us so much about the life of the Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible contains God's revelations and gives guidance as to how we should act in this life so we can have eternal life. The Bible and Book of Mormon work in such beautiful harmony because they provide "back-up" for each other. Just as it would be difficult to learn all you needed to learn to become a great scientist from just one book, it also would be difficult to develop a firm belief in God and Jesus Christ from only reading one book.
