Hi I'm Chase

I'm a merchant leadership program trainee, aspiring entrepreneur, dancer, beatboxer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in North Idaho and recently graduated from college with a degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Now I am living Arkansas working for a large retailer. Eventually, I plan on starting my own business. I am a very social person. As a result, my family, friends, and church play a major role in my happiness. But, most of all my relationship with God defines me as a person. I enjoy dancing (mostly hip-hop mixed with my own style), beatboxing, traveling, attending sporting and cultural events, learning, teaching, playing sports, and spending time in nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have parents who were faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Growing up I always believed the teachings of the LDS church but I did not gain my own testimony of these teachings until I went off to college. Living on my own led me to embark upon a quest to learn the truth for myself. Through consistent study, prayer, and guidance from the Holy Ghost I came to know that the LDS church really was Jesus Christ's church brought back to the earth. But, most importantly as I learned about Jesus Christ and worked hard to follow His teachings my life was changed. I came to know that I was a child of God and that Jesus Christ was my Savior. The burden of my past mistakes was lifted and I gained a new excitement for life. Since that time I have continued my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me closer to my family, strengthened my friendships, and enriched every aspect of my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Every day I pray to my Heavenly Father, study the word of God, and strive to do good to those around me. Every week I attend church to worship God and fellowship with other followers of Jesus Christ. Also, I strive to set aside as much time as possible to bond with my family and friends. At least once a month, I visit with various members of our ward to see how they are doing temporally and spiritually. Along with all of this I often organize church activities, teach classes in church, help members of my ward with whatever they need, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with whoever may be interested.
