Hi I'm Kim

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormon

About Me

I live in Idaho. I have a custom woodworking business. I love the out-of-doors and close by we have many varied outdoor opportunities. I am married with 3 children. Our oldest daughter is handicapped and lives with us and always will. My oldest son is married and living in Salt Lake City where he works and is going to school for his master degree in business administration. Our youngest son is going to BYU-I and is in his junior year. My wife and I will celebrate our 30 year aniversary in December. I am currently seving as Bishop of our ward and my wife is in the Primary presidency.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith but was converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my 20's. I wasn't living my faith but decided to read the Book of Mormon because I was tired of the guilt I felt living as I was and wanted to read it to see if it was true or not, hoping that I would find legitimate fault with it. I read not realizing that I was fulfilling the requirements laid out by Moroni, " ..to ask God....if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, ... he will manifest the truth unto you,...". I read and the more I read the more the spirit testified to me of the truthfulness of the words in the Book of Mormon. I now had the answer, it wasn't what I was looking for but it was the answer and I then had to deal with the knowledge that had been given to me and the rest is history. I have been active since that date and now have a firm testimony of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. If your life isn't a reflection of your beliefs then of what value is it and you are either a hypocrite or a slacker.

Are Mormons Christians?

Kim
We worship the true and living Christ of the Bible. He is our Redeemer and advocate with the Father. He died on the cross for our sins, so yes, we are Christians Show more Show less
