Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon. I have a husband and 3yr old triplets and live in Denver.

About Me

I lived in the same house my whole life until marrying a friend from high school. We moved to Colorado so my husband could go to school. I worked as a cosmetologist and then at a hospital while we were in the process of trying to have kids. After 4 years of wanting kids and many tests and procedures later we found out I was pregnant with Triplets. Huge surprise. They are now 3 years old and a blessing and miracle in our lives! We love taking them hiking and camping to many beautiful places in Colorado. They love being outside which works well for us! I love playing different sports and watching my family play any sport- enjoy snowboarding, but otherwise not a huge fan of the cold. I am just trying to live my life and stay sane while raising my kids and getting my husband through school.

Why I am a Mormon

I love having the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation. It makes me strive to be a better person. I know there was a place before earth where we lived with Heavenly Father. I'm so blessed to know there is a place after earth- where I can see my family that have passed away from this earth. I want to live my best so I will be with them in the Celestial Kingdom, and also with my Savior. I believe in the Power of Prayer. I have a Heavenly Father to talk to in Prayer, which gives me comfort through my trials in life. I can express my grief to him, knowing he's experience far worse and will help me through it. I love my family and want to be with them forever. I'm grateful for Temples on this earth so we can be sealed for Eternity. I know President Monson is a Prophet of God. I felt the Spirit tell me when he was sustained, he has a sweet power about him.

How I live my faith

I am able to drive to a church building every Sunday and meet with my ward family. I sit with my family and partake of the sacrament. I can attend class with a bunch of Women as we discuss the doctrines of the church and how to encourage each other to live better. Give words of advice or share uplifting stories. I love that my kids can go to nursery and sing the primary songs, learn how to pray and share and be a good child. I can sing these songs at home with them- which teach them that they are a Child of God or they can choose the Right, and Families can be together forever! I enjoy the activities outside of Sunday- the women meet together to learn homemaking skills or just to play a game of Volleyball. The kids have goals as the enter into their teens, teaches them to reach out to the community and be of service to those around you. Being able to think of Christ other than just on Sundays helps my be a better mom and wife. I get that spiritual upliftment that makes me want to treat my kids even better, I have been given the opportunity to raise God's children and want to do it the Best way I can.
