Hi I'm Curt

I was raised in California, schooled in Utah, and now work in Michigan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am grateful husband to a beautiful woman, a proud father of six fabulous children, a humble servant of the Lord, and a senior developer at a private boarding school for artistically talented kids. I don't have much spare time but when I do, I love to spend it walking in the wilderness of northern Michigan. I admire people who have the dedication to enjoy a hobby but the only hobby I have done consistently over many years is trying to lose weight!

Why I am a Mormon

My father was a Mormon, my grand-father was a Mormon, my great-grandfather was a Mormon, and my great-great-grandfather was a Mormon. But I am not a Mormon because it was a family tradition. I am a Mormon because I prayed my heart out one evening as a teenager after searching for answers to many questions. I was ready to go anywhere and do anything to find out the truth about what I had learned all my life. My prayer was answered in such a manner that I couldn't deny that I was on the right path. I continued to search for the truth both inside and outside the Church and always found it by a humble prayer after dedicated searching.

How I live my faith

I've always been involved in serving the good people around me in my church congregation and community. Currently, I counsel with other leaders of the church from one side of the state to the other. I love to meet with so many good Christian people and get to know them. I am lucky to see how the gospel of Jesus Christ helps all who take it into their lives.
