Hi I'm Christian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU in Psychology and Latin American Studies. I work in educational software support. I'm happily married. I enjoy all things sports, especially baseball, football, and basketball. I enjoy being outdoors. My wife and I love playing games together, and are best friends. Life presents many challenges, but knowing my identity as a child of God helps me to put everything into perspective and try to be the best person I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of my testimony of the Book of Mormon. When I read it, I feel the Spirit of the Lord testifying to me of His love and of His son Jesus Christ. Because I know that the Book of Mormon is of God, I also know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that the LDS Church is the true church of God here on earth.

How I live my faith

At church we learn about what God expects us to do. When he asks us to do something, we should do it. We are many times ask to fulfill certain responsibilities that require extra time, but that bring us joy and happiness. Those responsibilities involve serving others in different capacities and growing personally as a result. Having responsibilities at church is a blessing and chance to become less selfish people.

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

Christian
At Mormon Church, we do things that lots of other people do at church. We have Sunday School, we take the sacrament and we learn about how to become better people, be more happy, and come closer to God. In the temple, we learn more about how God would have us be as families and how we can be together forever as a family. There, we also learn about God's plan for us. The temple is all white because it represents purity. In the Temple I feel very close to God and learn new things about Him. Show more Show less
