Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Mormon. I really like watching and playing sports. I also like spending times with friends and family.

About Me

I am the oldest of four kids. I really enjoy anything that involves being outdoors. I like camping and hiking. I like playing sports and being around friends. Basketball is my favorite sport, but I really like watching college football. I am currently going to college and am studying Civil Engineering. I served a mission for the church in Uruguay and so I speak Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have learned for myself that the church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that because I have read it and prayed to know and have had my answer sustained by the Holy Ghost. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson, and that he was called by God to lead and guide the church. I know that he receives revelation and inspiration to help us have the most happiness in life and that if we follow his counsel we can be happy because he receives his revelation from God. I know that families can be together forever through God's plan of happiness. I know that Christ died for each of us and that through His atonement we can be made clean again. I know that He loves each one of us and that is why He was willing to lay down His life for each of us. He has restored His church on the earth again and it is the same organization that existed when He established when He came to earth to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to help others within the church to increase their faith in Christ as well. I help to organize activities that the members of the church has every Monday night. It's really fun to spend time with the other members and get to know them better. I also help teach in the church meetings sometimes and enjoy the opportunity to study the doctrines of the gospel. Study is a very big part of living our faith. As you study you can increase your faith and you also learn more about the doctrines that the Lord has revealed to each of us.
