Hi I'm Ashlee

I live in Colorado. I'm a wife and Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home Mom of two beautiful daughters. We are excited to be expecting our first son due in June 2012. My husband and I have been married for 9 years. He recently graduated from his Orthodontics residency program at OHSU. I enjoy photography, camping, the beach, and Disneyland! The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is a vital part of who I am. My Savior has blessed my life in so many numerous ways. I hope that you also feel the healing power of Jesus Christ in your life. When you meet with the missionaries and read The Book of Mormon, open your heart and mind, ask God if the things they teach are truth and let the Holy Spirit testify to you. Moroni 10:4-5: 4. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want to follow him. I believe that The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ. As I read the scriptures I have grown to understand the love my Savior has for all of us. I know that he is my Redeemer and Friend. He loves us and wants us to have joy in this life. His gospel has truly brought me so many blessings and so much happiness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to my church meetings every Sunday.I serve in the Church as a Primary Teacher to the 8 and 9 year old children. This year we are studying the Book of Mormon and learning to follow Christ's example in our lives. I also enjoy visiting and serving other women of my faith through a program called visiting teaching.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes, In our sacred temples husband and wife can be sealed (married) together forever along with their children. It is truly a comfort and a blessing to know that even after death we will be together again with our loved ones. Show more Show less
