Hi I'm Adam

I'm from Texas. I'm a physical education major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading and playing computer/video games when I have time. I love physical activity and sports. I'm a huge football fan. The Dallas Cowboys is my favorite NFL team and Texas Tech is my favorite college team. I'm a single student studying physical education in hopes of being a football coach some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because of the happiness it's brought to my life. I have never understood why God would stop talking to His children in modern times. It doesn't make sense or match the loving God of the New Testament. It wasn't until I prayed about the Book of Mormon and whether living prophets actually existed that I knew for myself that God truly talks to us still. God is no respecter of persons and loves us just as much as He loved His children of ancient times. I know God truly has a living prophet that lets the world and His people know His will in our days. God has once again called 12 apostles to testify of Him to all the nations of the earth. Because of this knowledge I have, I know that God loves me and knows what I'm going through and what I need. He and His son Jesus Christ are mindful of me and my needs as well as those of all people on this earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my everyday example. I am friendly to everyone I see and I try to help others whenever I get the chance. I think that the Savior did the same thing, granted his mission and influence is greater than mine. He is the Exemplar and I try my best to do as he did.

Are Mormons Christians?

Adam
I got asked this question a lot in high school and growing up. Yes mormons are Christians. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. We believe that He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for our sins, died for us on the cross, and resurrected on the third day. He is the Only Begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. We believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct personages with a common goal, which is to bring us back to live with our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
