Hi I'm Fred

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 30 years old, married and have one daughter and a cat. I work for a Comcast Cable as a Supervisor in a call center. I have been a Mormon all of my life and have lived in 5 states. I love to read, write fantasy literature, play video games, go hiking and spend time with my wife and daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon in Louisville, KY. I attended church all of my life and have never regretted it. I love Jesus Christ and love to feel His guiding influence. I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon at a very young age and have always believed Joseph Smith was a true prophet. That might have something to do with the fact that he and I share a birthday! :) My years in the church and serving my fellow members and mankind alike has only strengthened my testimony of the Gospel. I love to live the Gospel, read the scriptures and attend the temple.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best Latter-day Saint I can be. I serve in the church by visiting families in our ward each month and sharing inspirational thoughts. I try and live my life in such a way that the Savior can be proud of me. Outside of church I try and live the principles that Jesus taught and treat everyone I come into contact with as the Savior would if He were here. I try and be polite and let the Spirit show through me and my actions each day.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Fred
Through the blessings of the restored Gospel and the sacred sealing power, Heavenly Father has provided a way for family bonds to continue past this life. In our marriage ceremony, we are sealed not just for this life, but for all eternity. As long as a husband and wife who have been sealed with proper authority in the sacred temple life their lives in harmony with Jesus Christ's teachings, they can be together forever. Children also can take advantage of the sealing power and can be part of their family forever as long as their parents have been sealed and as long as they remain true to the Gospel and their own covenants, children can also live together with their parents as a family forever.
