Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm from Idaho. I love to dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young single adult. I just graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I'm currently in search of a career. I enjoy ballroom dancing, singing, traveling, hiking, backpacking, learning new things and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the church my whole life I used wonder what would have happened if I hadn't been. I'm grateful my parents taught me that I needed to have my own testimony and know for myself. I learned that conversion is necessary for each person to experience, not just those who were not raised in the church. My testimony of the gospel comes from "experimenting upon the words of Jesus Christ" and living the doctrines of the gospel. I have noticed that my happiness is dependent on my desires and efforts to be a true disciple of Christ. Understanding the Lord's plan of happiness gives purpose to life and strength in the hard times. I am so grateful to be a member of this church and to have the peace and joy the gospel brings. I know life is still difficult but I also know there is nothing I can't do without the Savior.

How I live my faith

Every day is a new opportunity to do better and to try to become more like the Savior. The gospel teaches me how to become more like my Savior and helps me understand how I can bring others to Him. The gospel brings families together, changes lives, and makes life worth living. In my own life I am continually trying to improve my relationship with the Savior and with my Heavenly Father. I try to be a good example for those around me so that others will want to know Christ because they know me.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No, we do not worship Joseph Smith. We respect him and admire him because of his courarge, faith and determination in doing the work of the Lord. He was an instrument in the hands of God to restore Christ's church to the earth. He also translated an ancient record similar to the bible known as the Book of Mormon which also testifies of Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. Show more Show less
