Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon. I have lived in various places around the world and love to meet new people and see new things!

About Me

I am a busy full time mom of two wonderful little boys and married to a wonderful husband who completes me! Apart from being a mommy, I love to be creative in my spare time and am an aspiring author. I have an Associate's and Bachelor's degree, so needless to say I love learning! I believe that knowledge is something learned and experienced and can make us wise depending on how we take it in.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a first generation born in the covenant, but have much thanks to my parents for joining the church! Over the years, I have learned that blessings come in many forms, even when not always clear. I know that trials do bring us joy when we have the strength of the Jesus Christ on our side. It is this promise that gets me through the storms. I know that he loves me very much as does my Heavenly Father and they want me to return to them. The Book of Mormon is my guide in this life and I know I can always find an answer when I need help. The prophet of today is the Lord's chosen leader to give us strength, reassurance, and comfort in a day when everything seems so blurred. Despite what life may throw at me, I know I can conquer anything if I stay true to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now in my small apartment ward, I currently hold 2 callings. One is I am the Girls Activity Day Leader. I love working with my girls and delight when they enjoy a lesson or discover something about themselves! My second calling is a Secretary. Even though it looks like I may not do much as a secretary, I have learned more names of the women I serve than I ever have before. I am getting to know them more and realize how much the Savior loves each and every one of them. In short, I love to help others when needed!

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Sarah
It is a small price compared to what the Lord gives us each and every day. But in return, He promises blessing from Heaven when we do what He asks and this is a commandment. This gives us the opportunity to exercise our faith and put our trust in Him when we do what is asked in building the Kingdom. Show more Show less
