Hi I'm Neil Archer

I am Canadian, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my early 30's. I am a carpenter in Ontario,Canada. I love to fish, boat and hunt. I am temple married, with three awesome children. I enjoy helping others, and love to play basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the fundamental teachings of the gospel. Love one another, love and support your family, and live a good life. The programs in the church are designed to help strengthen the family. After all this is the only thing you can take with you to the hereafter. I testify that this is the lords restored church, and that through the prophet Joesph Smith, he did indeed restore the fullness of the gospel. The priesthood has been returned to the earth. Though that same authority, the current prophet Thomas S. Monson has been call of god. He truly leads this church, through the direction of the lord Jesus Christ. I testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of the lord. It was intended to lead us in this dispensation. I know the father and the son live. That they want us all to return to their presence. I know this to be true. Through prayer and the impressions of the holy ghost i have received this promised witness. This is my witness and I give it as such in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to live up to the lords expectations. I know when i am not living in perfect harmony that the atonement of the lord can help me overcome my imperfections. I am the ward mission leader in my ward. I have the responsibility, to help new and return members of our ward, feel the love and affection of the lord. I also teach the gospel in our investigator class. I am an active home teacher. I enjoy reaching out in love to others. It is my hope I can help those who have strayed from the path, return to the guiding light of our heavenly father.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Neil Archer
We are in service to our fellow man. As we serve others we are in turn serving the lord. We do not ask to or wish to be paid for our service. It is part of the lords commandments that we serve and love our fellow man. Christ didn't ask for payment when he healed the sick or raised the dead. He didn't wished to be paid for his loving sacrifice on our behalf. His only bidding was to come unto him and be glorified in his name. Have faith in him, repent, and be baptized. He offers the gift of the holy ghost for our obedience. Is this not payment enough? Show more Show less

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Neil Archer
Yes, husband and wife can be together forever. IF they live worthy, and are faithful member of the church they can be married in the temple. It is there that they make covenants with the lord are are bless from on high. There they can be sealed together for time and all eternity. They can also be sealed to theier children.
