Hi I'm Ritchie

I believe in Christ. Knowledge that Christ lives has improved my life for the better.

About Me

I am a professor and have taught at major universities. I have several children and grandchildren. I like golfing, biking, outdoor activities, and home projects.

Why I am a Mormon

When I went to college, I needed to know for myself whether God was real. I attended religion classes, read scriptures, and prayed with a friend. Then, I fasted and prayed every Sunday for several weeks. One Sunday while sitting quietly in church, I had an overwhelming warm feeling envelop me. I had never felt anything like. To my mind came these thoughts, "God lives and Jesus is the Christ." Since then, the answer I received has been an anchor for my life.

How I live my faith

Mainly, I try to change, to improve, particularly to be a better husband, father and grandfather. I read scriptures and pray. I go to church and to our temple. I serve others, mainly as a leader and teacher--I taught the scriptures to high school youth. I try to be a good employee and neighbor.

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?
