Hi I'm Kimberly

I am a student studying Physical Therapy. I am a Colorado native and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full-time student in physical therapy school. I love to spend time with my family and friends, watch movies, play sports (esp. soccer), garden, bake goodies, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and so have been taught the doctrines of from a very young age. However, it was until I left home and went to college and hit some major life trials that I truly came to know that what I believe is true. As I said I hit a very rough patch when I was about 20 and my life was turned upside-down. It was when I hit rock bottom that my prayers became more sincere then they had ever been before and I began to seriously study the scriptures and talks from latter-day prophets and apostles. It was during this time of anguish, that I came to know my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me more than I can imagine and I have felt his loving arms encircling me in my darkest moments. I know my Savior came to this earth to suffer and bleed and die for me so that I may be able to return to live with God someday. I know this because I have felt the overwhelming assurance that it is true over and over again as I have prayed about it. It is that love that has carried me through my darkest moments and helped me to become a better, stronger person. I also know that I am a daughter of God. I still don't think I fully comprehend the magnitude of this statement...but I do know that it means that I am of divine worth and nothing can change that. I also know that my Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. I know that when it feels like you are alone and no one else understands, that He is there and He wants us to talk to Him, to share with Him our deepest thoughts and feelings. Because of his infinite love for us, He will always be there to help guide and direct us if we will only ask for His help. He may not always answers our prayers in the way we want, which can be very frustrating and saddening, but He will always answer them in the way that is best for us in the long run. I know that no matter what you are going through and how dark life seems, that there is hope and that hope comes through Jesus Christ and his gospel!

How I live my faith

I love to volunteer in the community, especially working with underprivileged children or children with disabilities. Through my activity in the church I have been able to teach other women my age and to build friendships with them as we strive to strengthen each other.
