Hi I'm Lynette

I'm a Mormon. I am a registered nurse and will soon be a Nurse Practitioner.

About Me

I am the youngest of six kids. I am a registered nurse and studying to become a nurse practitioner right now. I love people, service projects, yummy food, learning, reading, playing volleyball, exercising, the beach, dancing, and traveling. Recently I traveled to a small country by Indonesia to serve as a volunteer nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both converted to Mormonism before I was born. I am a happier person when I live the teachings of this gospel. I believe this is the original church of Christ that has been restored after an apostasy. I believe in the values, ordinances, and principles of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am actively involved in a family ward with my amazing husband. We have a family home evening together on Monday nights. We attend the temple together. I serve as a Wolf pack cub scout leader and my husband is also a scout leader. We go to church weekly and enjoy the time to get to know our fellow ward members and strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ and His teachings.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons strive to help as many people as they can in this world regardless of their faith or membership in the church. The money we donate to the church goes toward our church and also is distributed to other humanitarian efforts. It may sometimes seem I only help Mormons because I make a special effort to serve those who are close to me (family, roommates, friends); but I also believe the worth of every soul is great in the sight of God and want to serve all. I have enjoyed humanitarian service as a nurse and also doing things like volunteering at a soup kitchen. Show more Show less
