Hi I'm Rene'

I'm a Mormon. I enjoy researching my Family Tree. I also like making things with my hands. I spent my growing up years in Portland

About Me

I am a learning fiber artist. I like to do Micro-Macrame, bead work, Needle tatting, Polymer clay canes and beads. I also do a little watercolor, paper making, embroidery, crochet, Needle lace Etc. I'm a mother & wife. Homemaker and grandmother. I also like to do research on my Family Tree.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives and his son Jesus Christ atoned for all of mankind and wants us to return to him and have our families there with us. I know there was an apostasy and a need to have the gospel restored to it's former truth and light. I believe God and his son Jesus came and restored it to the earth in it's power and purity, in answer to the prayer of a young sincere seeker of truth. Joseph Smith. I believe you can ask in prayer to know the truth and receive answers to your prayers. I also believe that the Priesthood of God had to be restored to the earth to give us the power to return to our Heavenly Home and Sons and Daughters of God. I also believe we have a Prophet of God on the earth today and he leads the Church through the direction of our savior Jesus Christ. This knowledge gives me peace and direction in my life and hope.

How I live my faith

I try to Love all those around me and respect their right to choose how they will live and believe. I work as a assistant director of the Family History Center in our area with my Husband. We try to help others discover their Family History. We also volunteer at the State Hospital once a week meeting with the residents and sharing the Gospel with them.
