Hi I'm Brandon

I am young doctor finishing up my residency training. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in my final year of residency training. My wife and I just had our second child, another boy. When I have free time I enjoy spending it with my wife and the boys. We enjoy going on walks, swimming and visiting new places.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is our Savior, and I want to serve Him. I know that this is His church. The stability and solid foundation that I feel in my life comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ and being a member of His church. As a Mormon I know that Jesus Christ is at the head of the Church and that He guides the leaders of the Church though revelation. I know that I can be strengthened and follow the example of the Savior as member of His Church.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as a Sunday School teacher in my ward. I work with the 12-13 year old young men and women in the ward. I really enjoy working with the youth, they have so much energy and are in such and exciting period of their lives. We are learning this year about the Prophets of the Church, their lives and how they can be examples for us in our lives. It is rewarding to see the youth learn from the teaching of the Prophets and apply those lessons to their lives.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Brandon
The Book of Mormon is a book of scripture, similar to the Bible. It's primary purpose is as a testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. It gives an account of an ancient civilization that existed on the American continent around 600 B.C. after a small group were lead here by God. The Book of Mormon recounts the history of this civilization through prophets who guided the people. The prophets preached of the Savior and prophesied of His coming. One of the most wonderful accounts within the book is the account of the visit that the Savior Jesus Christ made to the inhabitants of the American continent following his crucifixion in Jerusalem. As Mormons we believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as they both testify of the Lord Jesus Christ and His mission as our Savior. Show more Show less
