Hi I'm David

I'm a husband, a dad, a physician, and a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from medical school in June 2012 and am now training in emergency medicine in Grand Rapids, MI. I am married and my wife and I have two sons. I play lots of sports soccer, baseball, football, racquetball and like playing musical instruments organ, piano, guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I was raised in the church and was taught good values when I was young. These values have helped me avoid many pitfalls and find true happiness as I've moved away from home and nearly finished 20 years of formal education. Now that I have a family of my own, I truly understand the importance of teaching strong morals to the children to provide them with a solid foundation that will give them support for the rest of their lives. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides that foundation by teaching the commandments of God which are the only way to find true, lasting happiness in life.

How I live my faith

I attend Sunday worship services every week in my local congregation. I play the organ during the main worship services and am thankful that I am able to share my talent with others. I play the organ and serve in other capacities voluntarily, as does everyone else in my congregation. I love going to church every week and the wonderful friendships I have with everyone who attends.
