Hi I'm Christy

I'm a Physical Therapist and own an Assisted Living Home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 kids and love being a mom! I never imagined the stresses it would bring, but the joy and happiness that each day brings makes it all worth it in the end! I am a Physical Therapist and own a 10-Bed Assisted Living Home with my husband. We did this so we could spend more time with our kids and have a more flexible schedule with our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus Christ provided us with a modern day prophet to give us proper insight into the challenges of our day. I believe in the Bible and learning about the life of Christ in the New Testament. I believe there is another testament of Christ in the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because I want to act as Jesus Christ would want me to and be his servant here on the earth.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to assist with the young boys in our community through the Cub Scout program. I also am able to personally visit with a few of my friends each month to check up on them and address their physical, spiritual or emotional needs. It is also important for me to attend church each week. This helps 'recharge' my batteries in addition to having Family Home Evening with my family every week and participating in family prayer and scripture study with them.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Christy
The sactity of life is above all. Abortion would only be considered in cases of the mother's health or life at risk, rape or incest. Show more Show less

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Christy
The husband is to provide for his family and to assist the wife in nurturing and caring for the children. Both together are to raise their children in love and righteousness and in harmony with teachings of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
