Hi I'm Kristin

I always dreamed of providing service through healthcare as a PA, and now I do. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a third year physician assistant student studying medicine with an emphasis in pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I hope to work in the Emergency Department, Orthopedic Trauma or in a surgical subspecialty. I love music and can frequently be found, or rather heard, singing as I go about the day. I love running and horseback riding and just about anything that allows me to be outside in the sun. Thus, summer is my favorite season, but fall is a close second because with fall comes college football! I am currently engaged to a man who loves and adores me in a way I never thought possible. He is such a hard worker and is so dedicated to the gospel of Christ. I can always count on him to be prayerful in his decisions and to do the right thing, not just for himself, but for the both of us. I look at everyday as an adventure and an opportunity to progress, not only for myself but for those around me. As I've grown older, I've come to understand the true meaning behind this life and why I'm here: to become more like Christ. I find it a new challenge everyday to accept my trials and blessings and do something worthwhile not just for myself, but for others as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after much study and thoughtful consideration, I prayed about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, and I received an answer a feeling of unequivocal joy. That joy has continued to permeate all facets of my life as i have tried to live in accordance to the teachings of Jesus Christ. That joy, a quiet, peaceful joy in answer to a very sincere prayer, unveiled a truth that I cannot ever deny.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living with integrity. I live my faith by following the commandments of Jesus Christ, even when I find them difficult. I live my faith by accomplishing my daily tasks with a cheery attitude and good will towards all men. I live my faith by recognizing when I have made mistakes and apologizing and repenting for my misdeeds. I live my faith by constantly looking to Heavenly Father to direct my path and being willing to walk down the road He sees fit for me, regardless of the incline or obstacles therein. I live my faith by attending church and the Lord's Temple every week to learn how I can become more like him.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are used to make two-way promises with God that will allow us to become more as He is and to one day live with him and our families again. Show more Show less
