Hi I'm Christopher Jex

I live in Utah and was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three and I live in Saratoga Springs, Utah. I served a mission to Canada, Halifax back in my prime and learned a lot about what it takes to be a disciple of Christ. I studied Economics in school and have worked in the stock market and various sales positions for employment. My favorite thing to do is discover a new book that opens up more possibilities to understand the world and the gospel. I believe that living the fullest life requires sacrifice and humility. I love to see potential in everyone I meet. I'm thankful that God created people who are so unique and beautiful and for the light they give to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this church has always been there for me in the toughest of times. There are the most amazing people in this church, it is amazing to me the amount of love I have been shown by people who I hardly know, but that have come to my aid in the most extreme of hardships. I came to know God's love thru the acts of his disciples, and in turn I'm trying to live up to that standard of service and charity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the golden rule of "doing unto others as I would have done unto myself", I think that is the best gift I can give to anyone else; to try and love them as myself. God's love is even greater, and what a privilege it is to strive to love him with all my heart.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Christopher Jex
Yes, husbands and wives are married for time and all eternity in sacred temples. There at the temple the sealing power binds covenants between husband and wife to have effect beyond death. We call this the new and everlasting covenant of marriage. Show more Show less

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Christopher Jex
The Book of Mormon is a book of books as is The Bible. Each different book was written by at least one and sometimes more than one author by process of abridgment or condensing their longer history. There were so many records anciently that those scriptorians had to condense the book into a shorter writing. The significance of having another witness of Jesus Christ is the harmony you get between The Bible and The Book Of Mormon, just like in a symphony the greater the number of instruments the more profound the sound of the music.
