Hi I'm Shawn

I live in Utah. I am a Husband, and a Father of two children. I served a mission in Toronto, Canada.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, I am one who enjoys inspirational books and I also know ASL.I am a dad again and I am still in college. Life has changed with this new experience but I am enjoying it.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I have felt a sincere joy of being a member of this church. As I followed the teachings of Jesus Christ and of the living prophets. Also, as I have read the Book of Mormon, I have come to know of its truthfulness. I Know that God still speaks to us and He wants us to return to Him.

How I live my faith

I was in the Ward choir and enjoyed singing with those I interacted with. Also, I attended a religious institute which is connected to my school. My wife and I have been in our new ward for 8 months and I am the 11 year old Scout Leader. I am striving to teach the young men how to be good citizens as well as being prepared to receive the Priesthood. In our previous wards we were teachers for the primary-age children, Choristers and Nursery Leaders.. It was fun to see the children's excitement for the Gospel.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Shawn
The Book of Mormon is a record of those who migrated from the Eastern Hemisphere to what is now Middle and South America. It also testifies of Christ and His important role in our past, present and future.. There is an account of the Savior visiting the Western Hemisphere after his resurrection. This shows Gods love for all his children not matter where they are. Show more Show less

Shawn
Absolutely! My wife and I happy to be together forever. Also, we believe our children can be ours forever. I can't wait to be with them in heaven. Show more Show less
