Hi I'm David

I'm an engineer, husband, father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an R&D Engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and I am taking classes to get a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering. Like most students, I can't wait to be finished with school; I'll finally be done with homework. Even though I'm excited to finish school I love my teachers and am grateful for their hard work and love in helping me learn tools to help others in my professional career. When I'm not studying or working, I like to be active or having fun with my family. The beauty of the earth also draws me into backpacking, running, biking, and other outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have felt the love of my Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father since I was young through my parents' teachings and love. I feel like I have always known that God exists and is my Father and that Jesus Christ lives. Eventually though, I wondered why our church was better than others and wanted to the know the truth for myself. I read the Book of Mormon the whole way through and could feel the truth of it throughout my reading. As I've learned more and more about the gospel and my mind has matured, I have felt the truth more and more. I know we are sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, and that we are here to become like Him. As we serve others we find true joy in this life.

How I live my faith

I think the main way that I live my faith is by serving and loving others more than myself.
