Hi I'm Kimball

The mustache is fake unfortunately. I'm from Orem, Ut. I'm from a family of 7, Classic Mormon family. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying at Brigham Young University. I returned in June, 2013 from serving a two year proselyting mission in São Paulo, Brasil. I am currently 21 years old. I love sports of pretty much all kinds. Not a big baseball or golf guy. I love Mexican food. It's delicious. In my family I'm the third born of five boys. I love spending time with my family and friends. That's pretty much me. By the way, I'm not German, I was only born there because my father was stationed there while in the air-force during that time. I'm not even sure if I can spell the name of the city right...

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a part of the LDS church because I know it to be an inspired institution that correctly teaches us the way to salvation. The Book of Mormon is completely true, and was translated through the power of God. I understand what God wants for me. I know where I came from, and where I can end up if I abide by the precepts layed down by the Lord. I know Christ is the Saviour, and through him we can all return to God's presence.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week to renew covenants I made at baptism through the partaking of the sacrament. I also go to learn more about the gospel, and know how I can better myself. I read my scriptures. I pray. I try to be what Christ is, it's really hard, but I do feel that I am learning and growing as life goes on.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

It has been commanded of God for all persons to be baptized (ST John 3:5). Because many people don't have opportunity to be baptized on this earth, and many are baptized with the wrong authority, we believe they still have an opportunity after death while in the spirit world. We perform baptisms for the dead (with the names of the deceased) to give them the chance to accept the gospel and fulfill the commandment given to us. Show more Show less
