Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A few of my hobbies are sports and technology. In high school I played football and ran track. I also attended early morning seminary. I am currently attending college. One of the greatest blessings in my life was being able to serve a two-year mission in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since returning from my mission I have been blessed to marry my wonderful wife in the temple. Although family life growing up wasn't always easy, I have a great love for them. I have witnessed how the Savior's atonement works to make families strong and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that it is true. It's the church that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want me to belong to. I was born into the church, but have become converted over time. From experience I have learned that life is better when I keep the commandments and obey God' will. He only wants whats best for us. When we trust Him we can be safely guided through this life. I know that this earth life is a chance to prove our love for Heavenly Father. If we follow the prophet and do what God has asked us we will be able to return and live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I strive to be active in my ward, because just like in any other endeavor, we get back that which we put in. Every day of mortality challenges my resolve to stay close to the Lord. Through daily prayer and scripture study I stay close to Him. When I am feeling down I know that by serving others my burdens will be lightened. We have been asked to stand in Holy Places. My wife and I serve weekly in the temple, doing vicarious ordinance work for those who didn't have a chance to accept the gospel in this life.
