Hi I'm Dwight

I'm working and going to school full time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student, studying biochemistry. I love science and I haven't decided whether I want to pursue biochemistry or take a genetics path. I love sports and staying active. I also love listening to music and just hanging out with friends. I don't need to be doing anything special because I like to make whatever I'm doing fun. I love laughing and having a good time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family so by default I went to church with my family. When I was 14 years old, I decided to read the whole Book of Mormon. About halfway through reading it, I was asked if I knew the book to be the word of God. I said yes, but later that night I thought, "do I really know if the Book of Mormon is the word of God?" That night, I prayed and received an answer from God that it was His word. As I have grown older, I have read the Book of Mormon many more times. I apply its' teachings in my life and I see amazing blessing from the Lord. I continue to read and follow the teachings of Christ in the Book of Mormon because I know that is what God wants me to do.

How I live my faith

At church I have been asked to do many things. One summer I taught a lesson in church every other Sunday. This last winter I was asked to be in charge of church sports. Right now, I organize activities on Monday nights for my fellow single friends at the church. Usually we get together, have a spiritual lesson, and then play games and eat treats. Its a lot of fun and gives us something to do on Monday nights while we're away from our families at college.
