Hi I'm Elise

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an optimistic person enjoying a full (sometimes crazy!) life! I am a mother of two sweet little boys, supporting my husband through medical school and trying to keep us all together, sane (some days are more successful than others!), and loving our lives. I got my bachelor's degree in Social Work, loved working with families of children with disabilities (ages 0-3) and now I am happily raising my family at home. I love music, food and being with the people I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into an amazing family who taught me the gospel from the time I was young. The older I grew and the more I learned, the more I knew with my whole being that it was pure truth and something I never wanted to be away from. Having the Lord so close to me in my life has supported me through all the trials I have faced and brought me peace when I thought there was none to be found. I learned at an early age that our Savior knows us each individually, and loves us with a love pure and real. I know that without the support of the Gospel in my life, I cannot stand. I alone am weak, but Lord lifts me up and His Gospel, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, gives me strength to become more like my Savior.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Church working with the Youth. I work with girls ages 12-18, teach them, meet with them for uplifting activities and counsel with them as needed. There are amazing girls all around and I love seeing the strength and energy they bring - their zeal and testimony. I also work with the Missionaries, going out and teaching investigators. This is a wonderful chance for my testimony to grow as I strive to share it with others.
