Hi I'm Jenny

I am from Taiwan. I found the church in China. I lived in Australia. I am a new mom. I am a college grad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is a miracle. 11 years ago when I left Taiwan, I would've never imagine my life to be as it is right now. It is definitely different than what I had in mind but it's better and it's perfect. My parents were patient with me and always wanted the best for me. When I decided to join the church, they were right by my side and studied the gospel with me. We weren't going to join the church without each other! From a girl with weak religious beliefs, to a church attending mom living in Provo Utah. I am thankful for my Heavenly Father and how He made my life so different and so much better! I love to travel and learn about different cultures. I love to cook and read recipes. I love raising my little boy and watch him grow. Being a parent makes me better understand my Heavenly Father. I have a degree in Dietetics. I love music and playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

The way my LDS friends in high school lived their lives sparked my interest. I got to go to church once in China before we moved to Australia. Once we were in Australia, my whole family decided to investigate the church together. After a few months of chasing and begging the elders to come teach us, we decided that it was "do or die" and we needed to join the Church! Our testimonies were so strong that we couldn't deny the truth of this Gospel. Seven years later, we continue to enjoy the blessings of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know the Church is true. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet. The fullness of the Gospel was restored to earth. I have a testimony of the saving ordinances of the temple and of the sealing power. I love the scriptures and love how it guides my life for the better.

How I live my faith

My husband and I regularly attend church every week even with our little 5 month old! Attending church uplifts my spirit and makes my week go so much smoother. We also have daily scripture study together in the morning before we head out for the day. It is wonderful to study the scriptures together as a couple. The sisters in my congregation are a great resource and support network to me. Acts of kindness and service are performed often and I so appreciate them. We plan to teach our children the Gospel and be good examples to them.
