Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 15 years and have 6 wonderful children ages 1-12. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm and love the outdoors. The children enjoy riding their ponies, collecting chicken eggs, playing with kittens, and swimming in the pool. My wife and I enjoy the challenge of building productive gardens, orchards, fixing up old barns, and being outdoors. As the children get older, we hope to begin some small commercial efforts such as raising raspberries and selling them at the local farmer's market. I work as as a chemical engineer in the electronics industry. I develop new ways to build the latest semiconductors and hard drives. I enjoy inventing how to make new things and it is satisfying to make a physical product that is useful. I enjoy playing basketball and working out. In my spare time, I enjoy fixing up old buildings and I like that home improvement projects give opportunities to work with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Church. It has been an enormous blessing in my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my character. I am kinder and more humble. I'm more willing to forgive others for their faults and have felt the healing power of Christ forgiving my own sins. It is a miracle the way he lifts my burdens. I love being with people that share this vision and purpose. I love being around other Mormons and being influenced by their Christian example.

How I live my faith

I currently teach an adult sunday school class once a week. It's so fun to study the scriptures and learn together. I always learn more than any other member of the class. I've discovered that the more seriously I study the Bible and Book of Mormon, the more I like myself. It's mostly little things that change about me. For example, I feel less road rage while driving in rush hour traffic. The result is that I like myself more and am a happier person.
